Quit vaping to help Congo

 Vapes and e-cigarettes contain lithium batteries that are made of cobalt. The DRC accounts for 70% of worldwide cobalt production; cobalt mining in the DRC is not done humanely. If the health risks of vaping are not convincing enough to quit, perhaps the human rights implications are. There has recently been a wave of TikTokers quitting vaping in solidarity with Congo, and you should do the same.
